Your Stirling and Wallace Monument Chauffeur tour takes in the Gateway to the Highlands, with a Door to Door service using a luxury Mercedes Benz vehicle and a local chauffeur. Remember this is "Your Tour, Your Way"

Your Sightseeing Tour starts from your accommodation, ensuring a great start your chauffeur will do a full introduction and point out all the on-board facilities in the vehicle. Once the formalities are out of the way they will run through the itinerary for the day and ensure all the passengers are comfortable and answer any questions before setting off.

  • After leaving Edinburgh you head towards The Kelpies, the worlds largest equine sculptures. Located next to the Forth & Clyde Canal, they are a monument to horse power heritage across Scotland.

  • Onto The Battle of Bannockburn Battlefield, the visitor centre is one of Scotland's top attractions. Located on the site where Robert the Bruce Scotland's great warrior King raised his standard & assembled the Scottish Army in preperation for the Battle of Bannockburn, where he would face down the English Army led by Edward II

  • You then travel to Stirling Castle, one of the largest and most historic Castles in Scotland.Given its strong defensive position atop Castle Hill the castle was used as a Scottish Royal residence with several Scottish Kings & Queens having been crowned there, including Mary Queen of Scotts.

  • Walk the Medeval old town and visit the Church of Holy Rude, with a selection of local shops and cafes you can explore the once capital of Scotland and the "Gateway to the Highlands"

  • Heading our of Stirling to The National Wallace Monument you will pass Stirling Old Bridge, the site where Sir William Wallace & Sir Andrew Moray defeated Edward I's forces at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297.

  • Arriving at The National Wallace Monument, a tower standing on the shoulder of Abbey Craig overlooking Stirling. It commemorates Sir William Wallace, a patriot & guardian of Scotland who led the Scots in the first war of Scottish Independence. The 1995 Film Braveheart was based on the story of William Wallace, would be worth a watch before completing the tour to better understand the story.

  • Travel back to Edinburgh travelling north of the Firth of Forth, crossing the Forth Bridges for a view you need to experience while in Scotland.

 

Your tour finishes with all passengers being taken back to their accommodation, the Door to Door experience helps you enjoy the tour without the worry of finding your way back at the end of the day or that walk up the Wallace Monument.
